Educators

 

The teacher to student ratio is:

 

• 1:4 in the Infant and Young Freshmen Programs

• 1:6 in the Freshman Program

• 1:9 in the Sophomore Program

• 1:10 in the Junior Program

• 1:12 in the Senior Program

 

 

Curriculum

 

Each age group has a curriculum plan that is centered on one of our biweekly themes. Every plan is reviewed by our Director of Education and then posted on the bulletin board for all to see. Each day, students are guided in activities that help them develop skills while fostering their innate curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. These daily activities are summarized in a Daily Report that is handwritten by a teacher so parents can know about their child’s experiences that day.

 

 

Communication

 

Integrity is central to All Starz. We are open and honest. Our directors are onsite and hands-on, involved in every little instance and event that happens throughout the day. We believe that clear and open communication, mutual respect, and ongoing collaboration provides the best learning environment for children.

 

We provide Daily Reports for each child. Our directors greet each family in the morning and say good-bye at the end of the day. They answer every phone call and are available at a moment’s notice to discuss any parent concern or issue. Monthly parent emails contain the current menu, calendar, and school newsletter.

 

There are video cameras in each classroom and outdoor playground that display on monitors in the Welcome Area. Parents are also given remote access to the camera feeds through a secure website, giving you peace of mind and a chance to “peek in” throughout your child’s day at school.

 

We welcome feedback. We can’t fix something if we don’t know it’s broken. Frequent communication is the best way to address concerns and find solutions that benefit everyone involved. In addition to our Leadership Team’s open-door policy, parents complete an anonymous survey twice a year.
