Parent Perks

 

Parent convenience is important to us. We know you have a lot to juggle with work and family, so we try hard to make life with your children as easy as possible. Part of the All Starz Difference is what we call our “Parent Perks.”

 

These are just a few of the things our parents appreciate:

 

The tuition is all-inclusive. No packing blankets, bibs, meals, or snacks. And all Specialty Programs are included. We do ask that parents of our youngest children provide their diapers, wipes, bottles, and baby foods.

 

Tuition can be auto-drafted. No more forgetting to write the tuition check each month. Our auto-draft program, called Tuition Express, automatically transfers your tuition payment on the first day of each month. And any credits from referrals or your child’s transition to a new Program are automatically included.

 

We offer on-site classes. Our Music, Soccer, and Sports and Movement Programs are a part of our curriculum, so you don’t have to battle rush-hour traffic or try to squeeze them in on the weekends. We also welcome necessary occupational, physical, and speech therapists as required for your child.

 

Community helpers visit us. Field trips require chaperones – and a lot of car seats. Instead, we invite different community helpers to visit our school throughout the year. A dentist teaches the children the importance of brushing their teeth, a pilot talks to them about what it’s like to fly a plane every day, a doctor teaches them how to listen to their hearts through a stethoscope, and an athlete talks to them about the importance of working hard in school so they can have fun playing their favorite sports, just to name a few. And we can’t forget our all-time favorites: the firefighters who bring the ladder fire truck for us to climb through, and the police officers who bring a police cruiser for us to explore and push the buttons for its lights and sirens.

 

We have a Babysitting List. Need a night out and don’t have family in town? Even if you do have family in town, sometimes it’s nice to have a trusted educator who knows your child care for him in your home. Our Babysitting List provides parents with the contact information of educators who are available to babysit their child.

 

We take professional portraits for you. In the spring and fall, we have a professional photographer take pictures of the children. Individual pictures, as well as sibling groups, are available for parents to purchase within a week of the photo days. And the prints are delivered directly to All Starz, so there’s no worry of them getting bent in the mail.

 

We create identification cards for the children. We know how important the safety of your child is, so once a year we provide parents with the opportunity to have a professional company create ID cards for their children. These driver’s license-like cards contain all the crucial information you would need if your child was lost or missing – your child’s photograph, fingerprint, and description. Parents can keep this card or the e-card with them at all times, giving them access to the important information whether going through airport security (they are TSA-approved) or in the event of an emergency.

 

We do birthday parties. Turning a whole year older is a big and exciting milestone for a child, but it takes a lot to plan a birthday party. You have to choose a venue, send out the invitations, wait for friends to RSVP, plan the menu, prepare goodie bags, and the list goes on. At All Starz, parents have the option of using our afternoon snack for their child’s birthday festivities. If your child so desires, you are welcome to bring in a treat to share with his class. The food of choice (which must be nut-free) is served in addition to the scheduled afternoon snack. With a chorus of “Happy Birthday” to kick off the festivities, your child will have a special “birthday crown” to wear during his party and plenty of pictures to add to his Milestones Journal. For the children’s safety, we do not allow outside visitors, such as magicians.

 

We provide the opportunity to purchase discounted books. Reading is one of the most important things you can do with your child, whether she is 2 months or 10 years old. Through Scholastic Reading Clubs, parents are able to order books at reduced prices compared to retail stores. The selection of available books changes monthly, so there’s bound to be something new and exciting you and your child can enjoy together!

 

We offer referral rewards. We know that the best source of information is usually someone who has first-hand experience. If you refer a friend, co-worker, neighbor, or even someone you meet at the local grocery store to All Starz, you will receive one week’s tuition free after the newly enrolled child has attended All Starz for three months.
